Position: Account Manager (Sales)

 

Location: Toronto

 

Salary: Base salary plus commission, mileage and comprehensive benefits

 

Position Summary:

You will be responsible for prospecting, developing new accounts plus expanding existing relationships. The ability to understand the business and technical needs of the customer and craft a custom technology solution for them is a key asset. You should be equally comfortable speaking to either management or technical prospects. Previous experience in a "solution" selling role will position you for success.

 

Key Responsibilities:

   

Build and maintain strong customer relationships

   

Analyze and develop customer requirements

   

Prepare written proposals, conduct presentations

   

Maintain familiarity with current and emerging technology

   

Generate profitable revenue and achieve sales quota

 

Qualifications:

   

Excellent computer proficiency in office software and internet tools

   

Formal Sales and Marketing courses are an asset

   

Excellent telephone, presentation and communication skills

   

Superb organizational skills

   

2+ years of business-to-business selling experience required

   

Information Technology experience preferred

   

Solid track record of sales achievements in a similar role
